Facebook invites submissions for “Secure the Internet Grants”

The Secure the Internet Grants are open to university researchers and faculty, non-profits, and NGOs and we are asking applicants for a two-page paper on how a grant would help them make real impact in helping secure the internet. Focus areas may include:
  • Abuse Detection and Reporting
  • Anti-phishing
  • Post Password Authentication
  • Privacy preserving technologies
  • Security for users in Emerging Markets
  • User safety
Proposals may be submitted now until March 30, 2018. We will notify winners by email by June 1, and will announce the winners at Black Hat USA 2018 in Las Vegas.
